when my lift was ordered through JBA, I found out about the BO on Bilsteins when everything arrived and they weren't in the shipment... Marlin was awesome enough to send me the OMEs in their stead because I was on a tight deadline. well lo and behold, the man in brown shows up at my studio the other day...with a set of front Bilsteins. If anyone needs them to complete their lift, I have them in box in hand. PM me and we'll set something up.

Not my experience. I made first contact and my reply was waiting on a shipment from Teraflex.Plus I never got shipping info. I have a KK and its the rear shocks I need. If I had not paid for shocks I believe I could use/get Dakota rear shocks.I also had a time frame in mind that's why I paid it off early. Shop not avaiable, wanted lift on before Jeep Blessing. Rant over.

Cherrie, sorry to hear about you experience with JBA. I too was delayed due to the teraflex front bump stops. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise though as I decided to add their 1/4" top plates and an extra rear isolator so I could get another 1/2" of lift all around. I'm half tempted to pay a shop their outrageous costs to install it all so I don't have to wait...otherwise I have a tentative date of April 18th to install my lift.

Where are you thinking of taking yours in Omaha? On the 18th I have an awards ceremony to go to for UNO in the afternoon.. But I may be free to help in the evening if you're still at it

I think my shocks have been delivered. UPS driver(a friend called me at work) said he had a box marked shocks. So hopefully I have both rear shocks and can get my lift on. :) I'll report later.
UPDATE
Yes I got them.

I made 2 order from JBA, the first one was for TeraFlex bump stop/Rear Iso/Strut spacer plate and got no problem at all, Marlin send me the tracking number and I do the brokerage service myself since UPS are real scam...The second order almost cost me $100 in brokerage UPS service! Marlin never join the tracking number with the 2 e-mail he send me for the 4.5 arms I order.

I write to him this morning and he give me the TN, I manage to kick UPS b... and save the extra charge, tomorow I pickup papers at UPS facility go to the Custom office pay the taxes and get back to UPS pickup my JBA arms! Happy ending! End of the story! :D

Just to note so people don't panic any more than they already do  Bilsteins are now available and in stock at most higher end suppliers. Bilstein went through a parts number change over to end the cross reference confusion caused by their old numbering system. I was told that by Bilstein, 800-537-1085 is their customer service number if anybody has any further questions. :JEEPIN:

What are the specs on the Bilsteins? (Closed Length vs. Open length) I'm still debating whether to get Ranchos, or something else, and my tax refund just came in..... :)

As far as the Rancho RS line up, don't like them wouldn't run them

Curious: What's different about the RS line, vs. the no-longer produced RSXs?
(What made the RSXs so much better? Or.......more specifically, why are the RSs so much worse?)
