mmm no cross bracing at all. interesting

We have used this same design for our XJ, ZJ and WJ Sliders for more then 7 years. We have never once had any single failure of any kind. You can hi lift them, winch them, lift a jeep in a hoist with them, they are not going anywhere. Besides, the KJ has shorter legs then all three of the previously mentioned.

You certainly don't have to worry about that...8 Years of building mail order products and we are not 2 guys in a garage. We build more then $300k in parts yearly, We are not going anywhere.

They've got these things bolted into the frame and the pinch weld, they're using 3/16" metal (so it's solid), and their shop's been around for 8 years. I don't think ANYBODY'S going to fear them going under anytime soon, and I checked the sliders from top-to-bottom. I've got no concerns over whether I can use a farm jack on them, (I already did, just for grins and giggles). I have NO worries about using these puppies, and I'm planning on an assault on Drummond this summer, to give them a 'rock-hard' workout. My biggest fear for off-roading at Drummond is the rocks and, for the first time, I'm ONLY concerned about 'just' getting stuck.

Boulder Bars and RL both make quality products BUT, JcrOffroad does too, they're in Southwest Michigan, so it's local to the Great Lakes region. Our area has so many companies that have gone under in the last 3 years, that it's nice to find one that's doing well, so I'm DEFINITELY going to try and throw business in their direction whenever possible.

Did I mention, I LIKE these sliders?!

They may not have the cross arms but the look darn nice and you've got lots of options... As soon as I can I'm in. Thanks for your hard work, it is appreciated. I look forward to much more!

How about a reasonable front skid to go from bumper bottom to engine skid?

Wow make one little comment of what you like and everyone acts like you shot the President :ROTFL: :ROTFL:
Been wheeling over 30 years I also know what works/ what bends/ what breaks so it was my observation on the design, but then I like things over built I guess

Tom, I wasn't trying to go 'Jack Ruby' on you, I'm just trying to throw a little good will on JC. As I said, RL and Boulder Bars BOTH make great products too. But.......it is nice to see someone local doing something for our libby's. They've been working with cjs, tjs, xjs, and they see a future building for kjs as well, and that is good thing. 8)

I am in the same boat as you and ya know my welding experience. Over kill or what some people think as over kill does wonders when things are seriously used and or abused, rather be safe than sorry. Not knocking their product either, like I said before and in another post they put up in the vendor section, I am in when I can afford to do so. It's also GREAT to see another company put out what appears to be a quality product for our KJ's :JEEPIN:
