Saw the 2011 grand up close and its just HIDEOUS.. for a jeep. They're taking it to a luxury level and the back looks like a darn bmw x5, which isnt bad in general, but its a jeep for gods sake. its supposed to be rugged and tough and be able to take a beating, not have independent rear suspension(which is what it looked like when i saw it in person) and look like a luxury car.

for the rubicon trail id have a lift, tires, rock rails, full STURDY skids, Lockers rear and front maybe, as well as a good guide and no heart for the damage you may receive on it :banghead:

+1 +1 +1 Pretty and probably rides and handles nicely but total soccer Mom's or grocery getter vehicle that can be used in all types weather. I'm a Jeeper type person and the Lib. is about as liberal as I can accept.

So, to summarize (and having never been myself):
Can the CRD make it through the Rubicon? Probably.
Can it do it without getting damaged? Probably not.
Would getting good armor, better tires, and drivetrain upgrades increase your chances of success? Most definitely.

Dan

As in everything in life the driver makes so much of the difference.

Let TJKJ drive the con and your truck will probably be damage free (if that's what he wants :ROTFL: )

Someone with little to no wheeling experience and the trucks gonna get bashed and or break!
