On the stock strut there is a ridge that runs up and down that keeps Clevis from spinning all the way around. I ground that off and it quit thumping like it was. Does this thumping happen mostly when the weight is off the wheel? I'm wondering if this is the same thumping noise I've been hearing for YEARS. Every time I turn while going uphill I get a kind of a gurgling sort of thumping noise on the wheel that is "light", and I haven't been able to narrow it down. I'll take a closer look at my front end the next time I'm under my jeep.
