First full tank of fuel, 24.8 mpg now vs. 22.7 mpg before bumper, combined city/hwy (mostly in town) driving.

Man I wish I could have found a CRD here in Cali... Thats great you actually picked up MPG even with the added weight.

darn,.... I should have ordered earlier -- I just bought a truck out in ft. collins and am going to drive out this weekend to take a look. If there -is- any way to get it, i'd definitely love that. although the shipper might be three weeks out to ship it, perhaps i can get him to make a stopover ;-)

I know a few others in the NW were interested... I think this 4-runner could probably hold three or four.

Also, oh man I'm loving the bumper you built for libertyinliberty!! Just checking, did he have it come with the winch hookup?? I'd love to have the same thing he does (and which lights in front!??!?), with the hitch attachment+winch power hookup.

There is no way I could have you one done by this weekend, LibertyinLiberty does not have the 12v plug,he does have the reciever, and I think he said just cheapo lights but it is designed for PIAA 510's.

Has anyone received a bumper yet with the stinger? I'm wondering how the stinger affects fuel economy (because it definitely gives it a different aerodynamic profile). After LibertyInLiberty's report, it could be hard to turn down an increase in fuel economy.

Have bumper with stinger, pictures do fully show the quality of the build, stinger tubes are all the way through bumper not butt welded, welded both sides. Has tie downs on underside for zip tying wiring for lamps.

Has hole on back side of stinger for lamps mounted to tabs on top of stinger and has rubber plug so water will not get into stinger.

Have to see to appreciate, JHCRASH is a fabricator/welder it is...was beyond my expectations.
