They will work but not the best size for an 8 inch wheel.
Some run them I wouldn't too narrow

Thanks Tom. it would be just temporary they only have half life left so i figure id wait till they are fully worn before upgrading to the bigger size.
As for the wheels, the more I look at them the more I like the plain ones without the fake bead lock. would probably look cool on some Jeeps but I think they may look a little too much on mine

Why are you going with an 8 inch wheel
go 7 inch wide with 4 inch backspacing, current tires will mount on great and any size that you can ever run on a IFS KJ will be fine as well!

I was just checking that out. I dont want to have to pound the pinch welds either. I missed that they came in 7" with that backspacing and bolt pattern. im going with that instead. I verified and they have them. thanks for the check Tom

I have the infamous rub on sways at near full lock (never do I hold full lock for the sake of my steering system). I use near full lock all the time due to where I live and what parking lots I use too. Id honestly just get cragers or moabs to solve the problem as opposed to spacers but thats just me. I think cragers go for 65ish a wheel now, might be a fall upgrade or whenever I get sick of polishing my sway bar. :furious:

X2 on get the Cragars or Moabs...
I just cannot push myself to buy spacers...I'm afraid having spacers with my renny wheels+the type of tires I have...it may be too much for my Jeep and then something breaks...

i have these kind http://www.jcwhitney.com/jcwhitney/sku/ ... 6_CL_1.jpg for a few months now and they have been holding up perfect. Those aren't the exact ones but the style is the same. you bolt it to the original lugs and then bolt the rims ot the spacer lugs, much stronger and more reliable IMO. Wheel spacers aren't a big deal and won't add that much additional stress at all.

I wheeled at rausch creek for 2 days as well as locally and they have never had an issue.

I guess it's more personal preference and use...

I'm sure they're fine and run perfectly fine, but I'd rather buy cragars IMO.
@irollgen4s have any pics of the KJ all shined up? It's hard keeping up with everyone on here and their Jeeps. Seems like someone's KJ is getting lifted every week (which is a good thing! )

Looks really nice irollgen4s! The wheels pushed out to the edge of the fenders looks so much better.

If i didnt have to park in such tight areas i wouldnt bother, but its everyday getting in and out of my parking spot mine rub badly. also, now that its lifted it just doesnt look right to me with the wheels in from the fenders like that. stance looks too narrow. Im deciding between two different wheels. what do you guys think? My renny has all the fenders and bumpers bedlinned and the fender bolts are also black now instead of chrome
