From what I've heard, I'd steer clear of these. Supposedly they trash your front struts pretty quickly. Somebody else could chime in though because I'm sure others know better than me. If you're looking for a spacer lift, Daystar seems to pretty much be the only way to go.

personaly I'd go either full coil or daystar but one of our members here has the 3 inch billet lift & hasn't had any problems as far as I know

I installed one on my wifes 04 Liberty. I am running 5 - 255/70R16 BFG AT KO's. The lift was a pain to install, I did have to clean them up using my father in laws lathe. Even though the most off road it will see is probably gravel roads, it does look nice and made my liberty more porportioned. I have about 5000 miles on it so far and really havent noticed any issues with it. The instructions with the kit pretty much were worthless. I am mechaically inclined and knew what they were wanting you to do, but for the average person they mght have difficulty with it. I sent them about a 2 page email on what I thought of the product and install, it sounded like I was only one of a handful of people that have bought their procuts to provide feed back on their product. Not sure if it helped or anything, but I would say its a decent lift for the money.

Run away!!!! Mine was undrivable with the front spacers on, and rears are a huge pain.

Even the 'best' lifts for the Liberty are semi-junk, get the best one you can and try to deal with it's shortcomings. I'm on my 3rd lift and so pissed off I'm thinking about turning my KJ into a H3. I'm going to try one last thing and hope it works out better.

What all have you tried? I cannot believe you could go from the torquey crd to an H3. They do 0-60 in like 11 secs!! :shock:

I tried the Billet Lift. As someone else pointed out, it trashed my front struts and upper ball joints in less than 5000 miles. And that was with virtually no wheeling!!! I didn't even put larger tires on until I was convinced the lift was okay.

So, I replaced the Billet with the Skyjacker and MOOG upper control arms. So far with this lift I am basically satisfied. Though I did have one of the struts sping a leak within 1000 miles. Not a problem as I had 4wheelparts do the lift and the replaced the faulty strut, no questions asked.

I would definately stay away from the Billet. Go with one of the proven lifts. There is lots of feedback here regarding the Frankenlift and others. The full systesm are your best bet, IMHO. For me, the billet worked out as it got the wife to agree to a complete system and new tires.

You own an 06 Lib & you're on your 3rd lift ? Going to give it up for a H3 ?

Billet lift first. Then went to the 2.5" Daystar lift. Then called All J and told them what I had and bought the rest of the parts needed to turn it into a Frankenlift II. I have tried myself and paid two different suspension expert shops to try and make all this work. I have over $2000 into lifts, alignments and labor and crap to show for it.

My last ditch effort is going to be put the front back to all stock and install the Rock Krawler lifting forks and have a 1.5" custom cradel drop.

The H3 is complete crap in the engine department but you can get it will 33's stock.
