I understand the Frankenlift is an assembly of various off-the-shelf parts. My question is: what are those parts?

Can someone elaborate on the ride quality of the Frankenlift also? In terms of a very occaisional off-roader would this lift still ride decent for a daily driver? for example versus a Rusty's coil lift?

I have the Frankinlift and love it. In my opinoin...it has the most off road ability out there. The ride is outstanding both off and on road. However...if you do not plan to go off road very much then the Rusty's kit might work great for you. The Rusty's kit has work for a lot of guys that even off road a bunch. It is cheaper and does not have any problems. Many guys use this kit for some very hard off roading and they all seem to really like it and not had any problems.

If you want to most off road kit out there...that give the most droop, great lift, great ride both on and off road...then the Frankinlift is a great buy for the higher price. I love it and and many have changed over to it. Hope that helps. Later...Clint

Extremely better ride on road than my stock suspension- I had friends who didn't know that I had put the lift on ask me what I did to make the ride so much smoother- the back seat ride used to be pretty jarring. Much better off road too

I know that the ~2.5 lifts out there caused upper ball joint contact and torn CV boots at full droop. As I recall the Frankenlift corrected those issues, right?

There is a bump stop that comes with the kit to add and it allow the balljoint to hit a poly bumpstop instead of the ball joint hitting ther spring. Hope that helps. later...Clint

The bumpstop also prevents torn CV boots right?

No it does not. One has nothing to do with the other.

A torn CV boot is caused by old age when the rubber dries and cracks. It can also be caused by operating the joint at extreme angles for extended periods or if something were to physically puncture the boot.

Adding a bumpstop for the ball joint can’t keep those situations from happening.
