Both, suspension will settle a little bit but I am fairly certain that you will not noticed your tires wearing despite the fact that they are. |

Springs will settle a lot over time depending on how you use a vehicle. If you haul a lot of extra tools, carry a lot of "heavy" friends around, wheel a lot, pull heavy trailers what ever they will start to loose some, at least quicker than just normal driving. There is no way of stopping that from happening unless you buy a new Liberty pull it in the garage and block it up with the suspension hanging down and ...never drive it, that way in 5 years it will still be the same. Most people never notice it because they trade every couple of years and the amount that is L.O.S.T. is never noticed. Plus most people never notice the slight change over time. I am one of those people who changes shocks/springs etc. every couple of years at least sometimes sooner. My 96 Cherokee has had 5 sets of springs and 8 or 9 sets of shocks in the last 265000 miles, of course some (one or two sets) was just for more lift, but......when they start feeling a little soft off they come. |
