Hey Clint, was wonder in you could elaborate a little more on the bolt in kits you spoke of ? A good SFA for both on and off road, a much stronger C.V./ IFS, both bolting right in. What axles are we talking about ? You got my hopes up but that was just a little tease.
Most guys will probably like the SFA model. I assume it will come with the correct steering components to change over. Then someone will have to come up with a lift for it, unless you guys have that covered too ?
Personally I don't mind the C.V./ IFS one. Hoping it will be a D44 since your saying much stronger. I can keep the rack for steering, which I like. Then just wait for superlift to come out with their 4.5" lift. Any more info without spilling all the beans would be great. JOE

I cant go into all the details right now but the plan is a kit that a guy can go to a salvage yard... pull the front end out of an XJ or ZJ and be able to iinstall it with the kit. More to come on this one. Later...Clint

Personally I'd be more interested in improving the IFS.. would like the ability to go to about a 4" lift, and be able to run 33"s without blowing the front dif.. is something like that in the works?

Look what I found!!!! A dana 44 with 4.1 gears! My next spring project, fit it to the Liberty. I walked away with this brand new dana 44 (no locker) at the Bloomsburg, Pa. 4WD Jamboree. :D

I am currently trying to get all the specs on the knuckle bearing, TJ or XJ, CJ spindles and axel sizes to see what is interchangeable with the KJ. I plan to use the old fashion "u" joints. And I will be looking into machining some backets to bolt this puppy up to the OEM mounts.

I am planning and thinking......can you smell the wood burning!
