Was just using the turn signal as normal and went to turn left and turned it on and it triggered both left and right to go on, no matter what I do they keep flashing, almost like the hazards are on.

If I pull the fuse they go off, but then my turn signals don't work. Jeep says it's some module, that is common to fail and costs $150 to replace, not under warrenty.

Anyone have info on this type of failure? Hoping I have other options than to pay the dealer to fix.

Search yeiled nothing, seems like that don't work so well....

Check state regulations for warranties...some states from what i've heard require that dealers fix safety features...such as turn signals, seat belts and air bags...free of charge or for a nominal fee at the most...check with your local DOT and see what they might be able to say...just a thought...

That seems strange - are you out of the warranty period? I can't imagine electrical system is something that is expected wear+tear like brakes and bulbs.

40k have the 76k powertrain warrenty, but apparently this is 'bumper-to-bumper' which expired @ 36?

Anyway, so far not common huh? Well I might just have to bite the bullet.

The handle thing works fine, it's electronic. Some module, can't thing of it right now... i'll pull the name.

Only module I believe it could be is the BCM. It controls everything inside the jeep.

I would check the flasher switch first. About $26.50 for the KJ if you search for hazard switch on any dcx dealer site. I've had the same thing happen to me on 2 previous cars and it was that both times.

Edit-ok edited 2x. The hazard switch comtains the circuitry, but does go through the BCM. I still think its that!
