The lift is for real, but as of yet, not one person has seen it actually installed and tested on a Liberty, so if you got it, you'd be the guinea pig. Not to scare you off, but search the forum for other rockkrawler lift experiences. I don't mean to badmouth them, but you should be aware of past issues with that company, even if the kit is completely different.

Just so that you know, you can put 265/70R16s on any of the other lift kits as well (frankenlift, rustys, skyjacker, even any of the spacer lifts). The 265/70s are the same height as the 245/75 (31", actual measure about 30.5) but just a little wider (20mm).

i did hear they had issues with their 7 inch lift, so they discontinued it..., well i dont know, i dont mind being a guinea pig, if i get it, itll be around in september, waiting for a check, my amendments for 2004/2003 taxes!!!!!!!!!!! if it dosnt work, i can atleast use the back lift, it looks good, only the front is questionable for me.... heres the link so we all can see it...

Here's a link to the original thread about it:

http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=10604&highlight=rockkrawler

I dunno about using just the back - there isn't a lift for the front that will match how high the rk lift will get you without swapping out the axle. If you don't mind having the rearend sticking up an inch higher than the front, you'll be fine, tho.

I spent a lot of time with the Rock Krawler guys over the weekend at the PA Jeep show, we talked about a lot of things, most I will not repeat. I really bug the do-do out of them. And if anyone knows me, once I get hold of an engineering problem I am like a pit bull, I just can't let it go. We reviewed all kind of things.

I did talk them into letting me have a set of their new clevis to try out with my lift. I should have them this week. In addtion, they are sending me a ball joint rated at some 30K pounds. I want to see if I can adapt it to the lower arms, or my upper arms.

Next I will try to get them to share the cost of the new 3.5 lift. I plan to invite one of the MA members to come over to the garage and let me install the lift. Who ever wants to do it please PM me. Your Jeep will become the test mule for the lift. Meaning you will need to visit Paragon and Raush often. In addition, as with all the lifts out there you can expect to replace the upper and lower ball joints, along with the upper rear joint on a regular basis. I am working on them to let me have some of the left over parts from the 7 inch lift, such as the rear axle truss four link system to test with my lift.

I will let you know more as I work with Rock Krawler. Just to say they want to provide a lift to our community that will be easy to install and reliable.

Basically I told them I would like to beat the new lift to death, I just need get a test subject.

Al
