Has anyone seen this quasi sway bar disconnect:

Would there be any reason that this couldn't be adapted to work with our front sway bar? The only major thing I can see is that the arm appears that it may be too long.

That is absolutely beautiful, what a great piece of engineering.

There's no real reason it couldnt be adapted to our KJ's IS43 front end. We'd just have to make the connecting rod (runs Nth Sth to the vehicle) similar to the OE equipment so it could move up & down freely without interference with the rest of the sussy.

That's brilliant. Great craftsmanship.

OK, not trying to be a naysayer here but one problem I can see from the outset on that is that the KJ front swaybar is quite a bit beefier than the TJ, given that the solid axle can help transfer load from side to side. I believe a typical TJ swaybar is about on-par with the KJ rear swaybar. There is also the fact that our front swaybars mount differently. Not saying it isn't worth a shot, just that there is going to be quite a bit of re-engineering to get it there.

My $1.25 worth (two cents adjusted for inflation...)

I think that no matter what the entire sway bar will have to be un bolted, because the A-arms will slam against it.
