So i was thinkin about the frankenlift, and i was wonderin if u could retain the stock look where the front of the jeep is a little lower then the back. p.s. Jeepin AL's story is on the Jeep.com website under liberty "share your story", I just noticed it today and thought i would tell ya. |

why would you want to do that ,keep the front lower? I personaly dont like it and I dont think the new ones do that but rather over time the old ones "sag" Ours was sagging so low that the ball joints and CV's were in a reverse bind ,like 2 guys were standing on the bumper, so I put a 3/8" clevis lift on it and now it looks great same gap at all the wheel wells and level at the pinch weld front to back |

Raise the rear. All Js has a 1/2" spacer to raise the rear. I've got a set installed now and just ordered another set today. |

Every Franken lift Ive seen on a libby lifts the front higher than the rear. Since I tow and usually have heavy stuff in the libby, I also like the rear to be higher. I cannot stand when a car goes down the road and it looks like 5 dead people are in the trunk.

Ok its like this I have an '03 that was looking a little low up front so I drove down to the local dealer ,who had not 1 4X4 on the lot other than a TJ, to look at a new KJ and it looked level or at least more than mine when I got home I took a real hard look under the front end noticed that it looked like I had a lot of weight on the bumper compressing the front springs and making all the front suspension components look "funny" the CV shafts went down to the axel housing not straight so for a few weeks after that I paid close attn. to every "newer" vs "older" KJ and noticed that some of the older ones sat lower in the front but not all and probably 90% of the realy noticeable ones were limited and sport 4X4 IMO this is due to spring rate differances so I did what I do Played with it until I got it the way I like it with a spacer This is not a fix but rather a bandaid to get me buy until I need to replace the shocks and struts then I will go OME springs and if thats not level then I will put in a spacer as needed I may be cheep but I also know what I want and make sure it is to my spec not what every body THINKS is right |

Not at all My wife tells me that I pay to much attn. to the "little things" and once I notice something like that it realy gets to me I am a "cheep perfectionist" or kinda crazy
