I'm thinking when I put in another 10mm spring spacer in the rear, she's going to vibe like a Hawiian dancer. I dont ever recall anyone here installing one on they're KJ ? It seems to be a TJ, XJ thing ? I know the KJ has the longest driveshaft |

The main reason for the upgrade is the stronger out put shaft on the t-case the vibe coul be handeled for less money with adj. LCA's there is no reason why you could not do it though it is the same t-case that the TJ & XJ has and you could just order the drive shaft |

No need to worry about rear driveshaft vibration until you get up over three inches of lift, than I have found that its more the driveshaft angles. The KJ is very touchy about the driveshaft angel. I am off a 1/2 of a degree and at 70 MPH its vibrates real bad. He is my new drive shaft:

Stu, I'll let you know in about a week. I'm adding another 1/2" (12mm) spacer in the rear. I'm going to correct the driveshaft angle with my Rubicon Express SuperFlex II adjustable lower control arms and my new adjustable top link from Carolina Rock Shop. The top link uses the Rubicon Express builder balls. I'm also going to add a Rusty's 10mm top strut plate above the Frankenlift. After 3000 miles, four trails this weekend and my suspension finally settled. The OME HD springs work great now! |

Mutt, Take a picture of the new top link when you get a chance, and post please! Watch on the adjustable arms, don't go pass 19 inches bolt center to bolt center, it will center the tire in the fender well, but at full flex, your diff has a good cahnce of hitting the tank skid plate. Al |

Will do Al. Andy at Carolina Rock Shop is still working on it.....should be completed soon. He's five hours away and ran out of time this weekend. Previously I had read where you had contacted the gas tank skid. It's always something isn't it? |

Here is mine, this may help:
Soon I will have a truss on the top of the axle holding the tri-link (or four link) Al[/img] Ps I am having trouble posting pictures, sometimes it there other times it disappears! Also there is only a SYE kit for the 231, the 242 in our KJ's is a stronger resigned unit, and there are no SYE 242 kits on the market, so if you have the 242, you are stuck with something like I have. |

The slip joint for the front of the double joint is from a GM, I think the guy said from a Hummer (they have the same 242 case!) The joint I will need to look up, or find out since he pulled it out of a book to match the flange. The BALLS system is pictured there in the photo. The springs in the rear are 6 inch LJ springs. They are a little lite. The front is done except for the bump stops. I just got the truss for the rear. Al |

The rear springs are from Skyjacker for the Unlimited, I felt that the weight of the LJ would be close to the KJ. What I should have done was order the Grand springs. Al |
