Where can I find a nice set of rock crawler side armor that also acts as a step bar (nerf bars), that will fit 2002 Jeep Liberty? I know Rock Lizard sells some but I would like to see what else is available out their. I’ve looked through some magazines but all I have found are a few manufactures but they mostly make them for the TJ, CJ, ect…Any help out their? Here are some pics of what I'm talking about.

I've got RL's Skinks, but I think Mutt went with Carolina Rock Shop's rock rails with side steps...

If you go with RL, you will be happy with the quality of the product. solid, very solid.

Cheaper ...but still expensive. I had these on my last Liberty.

These are inherently flawed but excellent if you do not plan on rock-crawling.

I know the second I get my KJ up and running again that my UBJ failure, I will be talking to Marty (Rock Lizard) about getting his Skink Step Sliders. Call me a salesman  but when I look at these compared to all the other rocker protection available, they just look WAY beefier
Image

I'm still debating whether or not to get his step sliders or his Super Sliders.

Don't hesitate to make rocker protection a priority. Here's a pic of my rocker panel under my rear passenger door post Eagle Rock.

Yep, I've got the Carolina Rock Shop sliders and tested them at Crozet. They paid for themselves this last weekend.

I've got the Super SLiders ordered. I'm not doing any wheeling until I get it armored. I've gotten pretty scared a few times thinking I hit something. It's been hard, but I've only got like two or three weeks left. 8)

Yep. Thats them. I had originally ordered their standard sliders, but decided to upgrade for the side protection.

I'm saving for those super sliders myself...but price jumps at the end of the month. The $40 difference will probably pay for the shipping.

Very cool. My Super Skinks are supposed to be shipped friday! I want that front bumper, but its not in the budget for me right now. Its a great company. I've really been impressed thus far with the customer service. I've sent quite a few e-mails and he always replies in less than two hours.
