Im' putting in my frankenlift and al's arms, (got the front in , going out to do the back now) and I putting on my moabs/MT/R's. everyone says wait till it settles down to get an alignment, which i understand, but over the next 2 days I will be going 300 highway miles for work, then wed-sat only maybe anther 100, thean next sunday I will be going to the great american jeep rally, which is 300 miles. so i am looking at 600-700 miles or so before i can align. will the kill my MTR's? |

Oh-yea. MTR's wear fast when the alignment is out. I suggest go to NTB. They have a 3 year alignment special. I think I paid $129.99 for unlimited alignments. Most other places have similar deals but will not honor it on vehicles with a lift. With this you can get it checked now then go back later after it settles. then every time you go wheeling you can have the alignment fixed for free. Jason |

You really need to take it out wheelin' before you get an alignment done. It takes a seriously good bashing to get those front springs anywhere near settled. I wouldn't worry about the minimal misaligned tire wear, but that's just me. |

The worst wear is from toe-in/out. You can use a tape to check this. Just make sure that the front of the tire is only about 1/16" narrower than the back of the tire. If it's too far out it will wear fast & handle odd, if it's too far in it will wear faster, but handle fine. |
