ARB bumper and washer relocation - NEEDED?

I FINALLY pulled the trigger. I just ordered my ARB. My question is this:

- does the ARB still come with that shield for the washer tank?
- has anyone who's wheeled with the ARB had any trouble when they didn't relocate the washer tank?

A stock bottle? I've got that. But I may need the aftermarket one that fits in the engine bay if I break the stock one with my ARB installed.

I'd rather not relocate the bottle if possible.

Comes with a washer guard plate and brackets...I smashed it once when I didn't have the bumper on and broke it, put a new one on when I put the Bumper on, have beaten it hard since, no problems.

Adam,
it will hold up until you catch a rock on it the right way, as it still hangs down in front of the tire. The 2qt. coolant overflow bottles are only $10.00. Plug the two holes on it and drill two holes for your sensor & pump, add about 14" of wire and screw it to the fender. The hoses are long enough to reach.

Do you have the bottle that Nick used? It's on one of these posts. If so, how much?

Seth and others, thanks for the input. My issue is that I'm having the body shop do the install while they're repairing my front end. I wonder if I can relocate the washer bottle later, after the bumper is installed? Or is it just easier to do it first? I'm not sure they'll want to bother relocating my washer bottle for me. Kinda hard to tell how this will play out.

no problem in doing it later, took me less than an hour to pull the stock one out, drill holes, ect..

I have to tell you, it looks like you don't have that silver electrical box between the fender and the bottle. Mine is so big I can't believe the bottle would fit in htere.

Same with mine also Adam. That is where I believe the computer is attached.

I'm going to try leaving the bottle in place and using the ARB privded shield for a while. If I hit it or damage it, I can always relocate it then. This will make the installer's job easier also.

I have my alarm's speaking mouted in the only other place possible, (firewall, just in front of the driver) so I don't know where I'd mount a washer tank. I'd have to play. So I'll worry about it only if the need arises.

I'll just have to pick better lines than Nic. :wink:
