Those of you running flowmasters, which muffler do you use, the standard 40, super 40, or delta flow 40?

I am running the base 40 series. I love it. Nice low tone at idle and wakes up around 2500 to 3000 RPM. All 3.7's are noisy when you get into the higher revs, it still sounds nice.

How does it sound inside? Used to have one on my wifes old TJ and it was pretty loud inside. I am considering either a flowmaster or magnaflow and running duals off the muffler.

It's a little loud on the inside but I think it is a nice soothing sound. I wouldn't bother dualing it off. It's just extra money and I don't think you would gain too much from it. Also if you wheel alot putting dual exhaust tips on they sit under the bumper where the stock tip sits behind it. I know there have been tons of times where I would have crushed a tip departing off some of the obstacles I've gone over.

Unfortunately its my wifes car, so the most off road its going to see is a gravel road. I was thinking duals simply for a meaner soound as well as the trick factor. If I do go with the duals I want the tips barely visible from the rear, I think its a cleaner look that way. I know the sound is soothing, I have dual deltaflows on my 71 GMC and it sounds mean. My concern with the flowmaster would be that we are expecting a little one in December and didn't want anything too awful loud inside.

I put a 40 delta on my CRD, not much diferent than stock except a deeper note to it all. No interior resnance of any kind. Installed it so the back of the muffler is where the original's back section was, I think it helps keep the muffler out of the way while wheelin' due to the rear wheels. I also took the little downward dip at the rear of the cat out.
