I heard a nice clunk today at about 65mph -- it sounded like a spring popping out a rock...though I haven't been wheelin in 2 weeks or so. It wasn't a big deal at the time. Later on in the day, when coming down a small driveway I heard the same thing. Mind you the weather went from 90F to 72F today, and I have a coil lift and a tranny skidplate that was being into place. Perhaps it was that? Perhaps something else? It sure as hell was quite loud, and it's not a sound I've heard in the past. Thoughts appreciated. |

Have you crawled under it to check everything out? Loose Maglight holder? Probably just those "normal" Jeep noises. |

I thought of the maglite holder, but I used a little bit of caramel and taffee in my peanut butter (it's really good, but sticks to almost anything when warmed up), so I don't think that's it. Haven't had time to go crawling yet, but an initial kneel-in-hopes-of-not-finding-anything didn't yield anything bad. |

You know ... I did. When I put my sway bar back on, I brushed against the factory skid and cut my palm a little (not too deep). Man, those MOPAR skids have sharp edges! I'll take a dremel and file them down a little |
