what is the torque of lug nuts supposed to be on wheels? i had a tire place put the 06 grand cherokee laredo wheels tires on my wifes Liberty that i got for her, which by the way look awesome on it ![]() i purchased some 1.25" hub adapters to make the fit. the truck looks awesome and handled incredibly better being wider. the tires were now pretty flush with the wheel well bulges. i remember that the tire place torqued the hub adapters at a lower torque rating than what the wheel should have been because the adapters are aluminum (14 lbs or so i think). i cant remember what they torqued the wheels at though either. anyone know what the torque specs should be for this setup, because i want to put them back on this weekend?? thanx, justin |

Better make sure those spacers are properly torqued to mfg's specs or you could be in for some real problems. I go 100 ft. lbs on my lugs w/ a good torque wrench. |

The torque spec on my aluminum Spidertrax spacers is 85-110ft*lbs. I use the factory torque spec of 95ft*lbs for both the wheels and spacers since it falls in this range. Although, it's best to check with the spacer manufacturer to make sure. |

That would look quite nice me thinks ! So with those spacer adapters, do they completely change the stud pattern to accept the Grands wheels ? |

I set mine @ 100 ft-lbs. Drive it get the wheels & hubs warm, then recheck (especially with aluminum wheels). |
