I am new to the lifting world and I have an 02 Liberty Sport. I just want a small 2-2.5" lift without getting too crazy. I have read about all the options out there but am wondering what the recommended kit is. I dont do alot of hardcore off roading but I like to play around in the woods and would like a little more clearance and to be able to get a slightly bigger tire in there....your thoughts?

thanks

Value for what you plan to do...Daystar rubber baby buggy bumpers.....or get the Rusty's Coil 2.5" Lift. Be careful, you will get addicted once you play in your KJ.

If you're budget is about 600-700, go with the Rusty's coil lift

If it's closer to 200-300, go with the DayStar or RevTek spacer lift.

I only did the FrankenLift because I found a lightly used one for the price of a Rusty's. I think a spacer lift will work well for the occasional off-roader - IMHO

No, I think he was talking about the KJ Liberty 2.5" Suspension Kit.

It comes down to what you want to do with it and what you are willing to pay for.

thanks for the link...

one more question, if I get the 2.5 rustys coil lift, do I need to modify anything else or will it all still be in spec (steering, drivshaft, etc?)

I don't think 235/85's are funny. It is a 32" tire, and I'll admit I'm going to have to torch the pinch weld and do some other mods underneath to make it work, but it wont be that funny looking.
