I must curios whether a Daystar rear puck or any other space lift would allow the bump stop to contact the orginal bumpstop area. I basically want maximum articulation, and I will be keep the stock shocks for now. |

I can answer that for you, as MAX is my game on the KJ micro-mini !!!!! It will not allow max articulation with Stock shocks. With the daystar PUC (or any lift), You will get Max articulation with a 29.5" tire or less and Factory Bumpstops. The inside top of the 245/70 or 225/75 rest right against the plastic on the inner rear fender well when "factory" bumpstopped without binding. The spring will be loose, but will not fall out (Yet). Prelow springs are not as loose at MAX You might be better off with no puc and longer OME/EMU springs and shocks in the back. I would not do the spacer if you are paying full price. Its better to go with the springs. If the spacers are the way you want to go, I'll work a deal with you and I'll go to springs. Good Luck, John |

I understand the longer spring concept but what happens when you get a longer shock? Don't you in effect increase the extension, but limit the contraction. So would longer bump stops would be necessary? |

The Rancho RS 12004 shock off a Dodge Dakota P/U gives the right extension/contraction of the lift. |

No, I bumpstop before I bottom a shock out. I am going to experiment with the longer Durango shock for the 3" lifted truck to see if it bottoms first. |

That was pretty much my initial thought. Once you put a longer shock in you are just increasing the droop but the flexion will decrease by the exact same amount as the increase in droop. Or am I misunderstanding this completely? |
