so i bent the pass. side step back into the rear tire, had to remove the bar and bend the factory mounts back into place and it is a little lower then the drivers side, but looks ok.

do the lizard ones have stronger mounts? cause it did no damage to the step bar, not even a dent, but bent back the mounting plates.

if your talking about Rock Lizards sliders I'm sure they'll kick the ...out of the factory ones & yes the mounting will be stronger I believe

I know on my Boulder Bars they bolt right to the frame, super strong

I have the Rock Lizard prototype and it has been hammered in Moab and in the Rockies. No issues.

Bouderbars, Lizards Sliders or Carolina Rock Shop Rockrails. Don't waste your money fixing those Mopar Step bars, they offer no protection at all. Well, technically, I supposed they would keep a flying rock from coming up and chipping your paint, but that's about it. :-)
