You never know who might be working on that...How do you think a flat fendered KJ would look

I think it'd look great and have quite a few ideas. Unfortuantely it's seems like many of the efforts here are disparate and not coordinated.

It's no wonder hardly anyone wants to make products for us.

I like that roll cage. Where'd that come from?

Not a roll cage in and of itself but probably a good addition to the protection offered by the unibody/roof.

Whats the opinion from you guys with some experience wrenching on trail rigs. Looks aside, Trail King or Trailer Queen? :?:

Without a roll cage and being that tall, it shouldn't even be on a trail.

I'm with you Eddo, 4-5" and 33's. That's like the white lib. w/ the RK lift. The 35"s look good but lifted that high makes it look... well sorta toyish. You'd never get away with that here in N.Y.C.
The man would be all over you with something that high. Plus it would'nt pass inspections.

darn Clint, are you making us salivate even more with hints of some flat fenders? Talk to me!

...Apparently I'll be adding new fenders to the short list

Post subject:  General Timeline Question...

I'm just wondering if there's even a very general timeline on this suspension project. Sometime this year? Next year? I'd been planning on a Frankenlift this year but if it's gonna be within a year I'd rather put that $750 towards this new lift you're hinting at!

Well it is on topic so i figured i would throw that out there for what it is worth.

Yes, it is on topic. Thanks for the info.

My understanding is that there will be at least one more kit that should make it to market prior to the RK release that is built to wheel 1st and look cool 2nd.

Thanks again,
J

sounds about right.... $19,000 for the Jeep and $20,000 for the rest!! That's insane !!! But it dose look cool. I think something a little milder "and cheaper" with LT285/75R-16 on some 16"x8" and no rubbing would be perfect.

Hey, Rusty's !!! Are you listening ?? No updates in almost a year. Just keep it simple and affordable and you'll make lots off money. Tons of Libertys out there, and a lot of LOST KJs.

Looks awesome....but so did the Rock Crawler 7" lift. I would want to know about it's true abilities off-road after much testing before I would give up my right arm, left leg, and privates.....to have it. It'll cost a bundle for sure.
