I've put some thought into this as well. In my opinion, I think you would be happier if you sat down with a fabricator and had him build EXACTLY what you want. This way you have complete control over all the specs, you can add shackle tabs, a hitch receiver, a winch mount, light tabs, whatever you want, and it will all be arranged how you want it. You can specify the height, bends, and thickness of the bull bar, the material that he uses for the bumper, etc, etc. I think you'll have a lot more versatility with something that you have built to your own specs. Plus, you'll have the pride of saying "yeah, that's one-off." or "yeah, i designed that." And it could possibly be cheaper. In short, i'd give the custom bumper some SERIOUS thought...
