look in the front wheel well, now closest to the doors ( backside) there should be a piece of plastic sticking out behind that is the pinch weld,or if you still are confused turn your steering wheel to the left 1/2 way & the backside of the tire will come close to hitting it,that is the pinch weld

I don't have pic's but I'm sure someone will post for you, just trying to explaine it clearly for you :D

If you cut slots in it and bend them up, it scrapes the mudd off the tires.

OK, I'm planning on getting some new tires this weekend, probably 235/85s or 245/75s. Regarding the pinch weld, do most people pound it up toward the back of the wheel well or what? As far as the fog light door area goes, what is done there? I know I could probably find the answers to these and other burning questions if I hunted around the site, but tonight I'm feeling particularly lazy :P

Pound the pinch weld inwards and either paint it, primer it, or undercoat it.

For the front, that should be pretty minor. Use a heat gun to soften the plastic to mold it forward a bit to clear your rubbing.

Hope this helps!

Heat gun - check.
2lb dead blow hammer - check.
Spray paint - pick up tomorrow.

Look out front wheel wells, here I come! :P
