Mine will not lift the front tires off of the ground if I use the stock jacking point. Its best to carry a few blocks of wood in the jeep to stick under the jack incase you get a flat..

Not sure where to put this question, or even if it's a valid question.. Would the factory jack still function (have enough reach) to elevate my lifted libby so I could change a tire if need be ?? The specs on my libby are below in my signature. |

it will work on pavement. i used it to change out the shocks on the rear. i would be a little weary to try and use it in off road conditions though. |

If you use different lifting point you can get all the tires off the ground. At least on pavement. For the front place it under the control arm. For the rear place under the axle on the side of the tire you want to lift. With these lifting points the lift doesnt matter since you are not unloading the suspension when lifting. |

Thats what I would have to do if I had a flat.. Use the lower control arm on the front. Ive had some scary accidents using that jacking point though with my floor jack so I would be alittle worried to do that beside the road(has fallen off a few times). Since Im to lazy to put some blocks of wood in the jeep I probably would have to use that jacking point..

If you set your park brake and use blocks to chuck the wheel it shouldn't roll. That is where I always lift my Jeep from if I just need to access one tire. I've done it countless time and never had a problem. |

I keep a 4x6 under the seat. Works on and off road as long as you are on a fairly flat surface. |
