Ok. Here is the prototype for my second gen. bumper. I tried to address all of the comments on my previous version. bare with me on the night photos. I will have better ones posted in the next few days. Also, the bumper is un-finished (not powdercoated) so, let's not get hung up on that issue. They WILL be shiped powdercoated. So here it goes.......... 1. extended ends to match the fender flares 2. added additional tubes, mid span 3. clevis mounts (only one shown) 4. aluminum skid plate. integraded into bumper mounts. no need to drill or weld 5. not shown is the 16 gage plate to fill in the horizontal space between the upper and lower tubes. I am still waiting on the dimple die set to arrive. 6. 2" reciever for portable winch

Lookin good, I think I could go for that. The whole stinger bar thing is throwing me off a bit, but I think it is growing on me. Are you going to offer one without the top bar? Would like to keep the bottom skid etc though. |

Well I've been reading this board for a while now but have yet to post anything, but after seeing that bumper, I have to! That is a SCHWEET bumper. But I do have to chime in wiht raceinfan, will those of us that have older model Liberty's be able to use them without much modification? |

i defenitely wanted to buy one too, but it still looks kinda naked to me. Dont get me wrong, it looks awesome, but my KJ is stock and I dont know if something that rough would look good on it. But I wait for some daylight pics and different angle, see how it looks like. I still want to buy one though! edit: Quote: 5. not shown is the 16 gage plate to fill in the horizontal space between the upper and lower
tubes. I am still waiting on the dimple die set to arrive. Well, this might address my concern. I guess that would cover up the gap. Awesome! |

orm, only suggesting this as constructive but, I'd like to see ine placed on the front of a regular bonnet (front end) KJ not the flat bonnet one, as the regular one slopes down more between the headlights and the look isnt as tall. Also, side wings need to be angled up a bit more imo. I LOVE the side on profile, cant fault it, like I said, you've captured the true look of pre runner style. A small hoop version would look good too...... Keep up the top work mate Stu. |

wow orm, good job! Better shots will really tell the tale, but I would love to get my hands on one of those! Someone mentioned light tabs...I am also curious about that. Wouldn't be a big deal to add them I am sure. |

Jeger & Oz, Typicaly, the purpose or the "stinger" bar is to protect whatever you have mounted to the top tube. In this case, lights and/or a winch. Basicly it will act as a brush guard. It might even deflect deer... There will ABSOLYTLY be light tabs. What good is a aftermarket bumper if you can't put aftermarket lighting on it? More photos soon... |

Deflecting deer, thats what I need for sure, although I hope I wont be the one to test it We are ready for more pics NOW. And some are ready to send you money I believe. |
