Post subject: | Light Bar Issue |
I installed the renegade light bar on my 2003 sport this weekend. It works great, but now my driver side front and rear marker lamps don't work....The unit plugs into fuse F23, which on a 2003 is the fuse for.....take a guess....driver side front and rear marker lamps. So why does the light bar work, but not the marker lamps????? Any suggestions on this??? I'm stumped! |

Have you tried taking the light bar back off fuse F23 and see if they work? have you checked the fuse? ![]() |

![]() Ahhh, you led me down the right path. The original fuses go in with the fuses in the kit creating a double fuse setup. Its right in the picture directions, I overlooked it ![]() Another question maybe you can help with. Do you think it will cause an overload with the fuses if I splice in my Cepek 130w lights to the light bar wiring harness? This way when i hit the light bar switch they all come on. |

I probably wouldnt do that.. I believe the lights on the roof are 55watts a piece.. 55x4=220watts+130watts=350watts/13.5v=25.9Amps.. Thats a decent amount for one circut.. You could easily wire a relay up to rooflights.. ![]() |

relays and inline fuses are your friends when dealing with lighting. |
