A great alternative to lifting is to open up the wheel wells. With our tapered hood design, it would really help out our approach angles, especially, when coupled with a new high clearance bumper.

T&T Customs just released some trick Phantom Fenders which take full advantage of this. Maybe we should take a closer look at this approach. This, and a new tri-link for the rear to allow centering the rear wheels could be a promising alternative for stuffing larger meats. Now if we could just figure out what to do about that front diff...

I also came accross these headlights in the February, 2007, issue of Petersen's 4 Wheel & Off-road which would be great for relocating the turn signals (up front anyway) to keep things street legal. Great for those of you with Wranglers or designing new front bumpers. Although I guess you'd still have to address the side markers.

I think our only hope for a better lift is JeepinAl. Some other companies are looking at the libby, but who is to say it wont be another awesome lift like their past one was.

JeepinAl has successfully made a cradle drop that works. He re-located the upper and lower A-arms and I believe he redid the rear 3link. His jeep work offroad but I do not believe it was only bolt on.

Larger fenders would be really nice to have. There are a lot of other trucks on the market that aren't any or much taller than the liberty, but have much larger tires (Xterra, Hummer H3, Toyota FJ to name a few)
