I'm getting ready to purchase and install Rusty's full lift on my 2006 KJ. I plan on 245/75/16 Revos after the lift, probably on black rockcrawlers. Should I expect the jeep to sit fairly level after the install, or should I go ahead and install the strut plates Rusty's offers while I have everything apart? Any other/better methods for getting the nose up (if it's even necessary)? I'm open to any tips on wheel backspacing, lift install, or any other "must knows" you might think of. Thanks in advance for the help. |

I am running the Rustys with 245/75/16 MTRs and I put the front strut plate on when i did it. I think it came out good. Here are the pics. http://www.e-rak.com/MarC/gallery/jeep |

I did not add the strut plates. I feared having contact with the UBJ. I have about 1/8 " at full droop which is right where I wanted to be. Full details on my lift and installation are HERE. |

Do the clevis lift and you'll be level. We did two conduit locknuts on each side and were fine. I ended up removing the extra rear spring isolator we put in the rear. My cardomain pics are from right after the lift install, with the extra isolator still in. Since then it has had time to settle, and sits perfectly level. ![]() |

I put in the two clevis conduit nuts also, but only after the lift settled a little. It basically put it back up to where it was when it was new. I'm probably going to have to go with the OME HD springs in a while, I just had the ARB bumper put on and they are probably going to sag pretty soon. |

Oh yeah, with that bumper, you'll definitely need the HDs! ![]() |
