Need help quick
I drove tonight from chicago to indy - noticed a clunk - only a few times specially going into parking lots fro street level - sounds like it comes from drivers side.
parked on the road at rest stop, pulled flash light out, checked Drivers side LBJ - there is black grease around plastic boot - just a bit, not a lot - could not confirm tear on plastic/rubber boot.
I'm driving to TN tomorrow and I'm a bit worried - not only that, I'm going wheeling with midwest group to KY on Sat.
Will see if I can find out a dealer tomorrow early and have them check it out before I get on the road again....
Any suggestions?

If you have the ability jack it up under the control arm, then put a 2x4 under the tire and try lifting the tire. If you notice any play take it to a dealer. If you don't notice any play you might try checking the UBJ and the swaybar connections. Could just be road grime, hopefully daylight will give you some better conditions to check things out.
