So I'm thinking about doing a Rusty's coil lift but have seen a lot of posts about troubles with the bushings being the wrong size. Seems a lot of folks are having strange noises as a result and are continually re-torqing as a result. Would it be advantageous to do the Rusty lift but use different shocks? As far as I know Rancho's are the only shocks out there with the correct size. Or are there others? What do y'all think? Any advice is apprecited.

The Ranchos do work good, It is an option. Check to see if Rusty's will give you a credit on the shocks.

I know this has been mentioned a dozen times, but to save my searches, which part number were the Rancho shocks again? And which shocks are the problems on Rusty's lift? (Front or Rear?) I have the lift and its going on soon...

Thanx.

For me, it is the rear shocks making the noise.

The Rancho rear shock that is correct is RSX17004. Just tighten them down very tight the first time and it should be a done deal. Hope that helps. later...Clint

I have the shocks that came wtih Rusty's on; I put them on in August and have had no problems. The bushings were there in the package, too.
