Post subject: | Clevis Lift on OME struts |
I became really excited when I read up on the Clevis lift - seemed easy enough to do on my own, but became confused when I looked at my setup. It appears as if the OME struts barely fill the clevis to its base - let alone raise it. Is this normal, or am I looking in the wrong place. Just how much can I lift this or is part of the strut supposed to stick out the bottom? I would lreally like to gain another 1.5cm in the front My OME coils with 12mm spacers on top of the struts are still only 32mm taller than stock. I would like to have at least 2 inches lift in the front. The only guys around here (Cape Town, South Africa) that claim to know anything, don't know JACK SH@T(frowned with confusion when I mentioned Clevis lift).[/img] |

I have the OME struts, and when seated all the way down in the clevis they were 6 mm going out in the bottom, so i moved the strut 18 mm up. Just be careful to tight it to the specs. i think is 100 lbs/ft. No problems with that and I realy wheel it. Hope this helps. Bruce |

I have those struts and my clevas lift wouldn't hold. It kept slipping back down no matter how I torqued it. We need someone to come up with a ring spacer to put in there. |
