Hi all,
As usual, one question only. :D

You all know that if you want to switch on the fog lights your headlights should be on too. Right? How I can switch them without the headlights on using the same control?

Thanks in Advance

You can turn on just the fogs...the parking lights will be on but the headlights don't need to be. Your owners Manual will instruct you "HOW TO" use the stalk. I think the best way to describe the preocedure is half turn then pull.

I edited your instructions a bit... First click (twist the stalk) is the parking lamps / / Then pull out (towards the window) and you'll get parking lights + fogs only.

Guys, I know that but, in mine if I use the parking lights, the fog will not work even if I pul out the stalk, when you turn on the headlights I'll get (Parking, head, and fog lights ) all on in one time. :?:

so if you have the fogs, parks, and headlights on, then turn the stalk one click back(to park lights), the fogs and headlights go off? :?

No, you need to bring it back to the dealer where you bought it and tell them that it's not working properly.

Could it be an export thing?

If you rotate the knob one notch forward..for parking lights....are you able to pull out on it? Or do you have to rotate it another notch?

Or are you saying that you cannot turn your parking lights on without the headlights also coming on?

The Jeep (in the US and I thought in other markets) comes from the factory with the abililty to activate the fogs w/o having the headlights come on. This capability is determined by the multifunction stalk - which will allow or not allow it. If your Liberty can not and it is like that from the dealer I don't think you will be left with to many other options short of rewiring the lights yourself....

Being a Euro/Mid East vehicle (I'm assuming from your location stating Saudi Arabia), you may be equipped with Daytime Running Lights like we have in Canada. Do your headlights shut off when you set the hand brake? Do they come on immediately after starting the vehicle without manually switching them on?

I guess no one has really answered your question...we just asked you more LOL

If you wanted to rig it up so that you could run your fog lights alone, at any time, you could go buy an aftermarket light wiring kit, wiring, switch, and relay. Unhook the factory power to the fogs, and make it so that flipping the new switch, and turning on the fog lights like you always have, will both trip the new relay so that your fog lights come on. Maybe someone else can give you better instructions if this doesnt make sense.

SnowgodCCR:
My Libertycome without the fog lights, then I ask the dealer to install them for me, thats mean it is a factory install.

Jeger:
I think ie is axactly what you are saying, I can pull out the switch to start the fog lights even when all are off.

sleeve84028:
I think the problem is that we have the rear fog lights (like on euro car), so I have to start the headlights then the fogs comes on.

pg2676:
No, I don't have the day time lights, and they are not comming off when I set the the hand brake, and they are not starting when I start the vehicle.

Jeger:
Yes, too many questions
I'll try to run a wires directly from the fog to the pull out switch, I think it is a possible sulution, because I already spoke to the dealer, and he said all Middle East Version Liberty's comes like that only.

Thanks gys for the help :D
