hey guys i can get some LBJ part number k3199 (moogs) for pretty cheap at work. like dirt cheap at cost. what are the normal costs for replacing them at a shop? how long does it take? so i can figure if i wanna do it here or take it in. i havent checked them to see if i need replacing just dont wanna wait for the dealers to get em in |

Check in the Tech Section, I'm pretty sure someone did a do it youself write up on replacing their lower ball joints. |

dirt cheap as in $22 each. but i looked at em today and they do not have the grease nipple but the number is k3199 they may be a private label of moog made for our store??? |

Moog changed their design of the ball joint and not the part number. It was necessary ( Still is, sounds like ) to inspect the part in the box to see if it is the newer style. From this site, they said Jeepin' by Al checked before shipping them, and returned the older ones to his supplier. |

yeah i know right, sure wish they had the fittings on em especially at that price. maybe i can get em at advance for a discount as well. |
