Post subject:  rusty's installed and question

Finally got my rustys coil lift on, this thing is truely awesome. between that and removing the rear sway bar its like a whole new beast. quick question though, all the pics and searching I've seen rusty's rear shocks came with poly bushings, mine came with rubber? Wont this shorten the lifespan even more?

I think that shock will wear out before the bushings do no matter what they are made of. Rubber bushings are softer less road vibrations, Poly bushings are harder and usually gives you more feel of the road.

That is my pic, and it's not the poly bushing that is crushed it is the steel sleeve insert that gets crushed. When compared to the stock or Rancho shock sleeve Rusty's has a larger interior diameter and thinner construction = crushed when you torque it down to 80 ft lbs.
