Just wondering, would the daystar front 1.5 inch spacers (KJ09119) work with rusty's front springs and the OME shocks.....or would there be an issue due to rusty's longer springs? Are these the spacers used in the frankenlift? I know they use the upper strut plate too.

There are no spacers on the franken lift. There is an upper strut plate from daystar like you said, and in the rear there daystar bump stops to keep the spring from popping out. Here's what I got with my franken lift:

Front sturts pre-assembled with OME HD coils, OME struts and daystar componets as well as a custome bumpstop up front.
For the rear, OME HD Springs, OME132L shocks and the daystar rear bumpstops.

I think there is a spacer on Frankenlift...just my 2 cents. And it is the actual Daystar on too.

The Frankenlift Front assy. uses a Custom, All J designed front spacer that incorporates a bumpstop for knuckle/ball joint contact. The original FL's used a Daystar front spacer but no more.

so would the daystar spacer work with rusty's front set up??? contemplating maybe a little more lift, but also imagining the issues (CV, BJ contact, new A-Arms).

I've been thinking about this as well, it would be a way to get us to that 4" lift we desire. I've seen a lot of fullsize trucks with STEEP cv angles that a Jeeper would never have, so I'd imagine it's possible for someone that doesn't do hardcore offroading.

A Daystar front spacer Was tried w/ Ryustys springs and it didn't work as well as the OME or even stock springs. I do not know if there is currently any difference between what was previously tested and the current Rustys setup though. I wouldn't run any more angle on the front shafts than what we are already getting w/ the FL. You would just be asking for trouble.

yeah I'm not looking for more lift that the Franky, maybe just about as much since the rustys sits lower. Does anyone know if the Rusty front springs are taller than the OME? Maybe that is why the setup didn't work, also maybe because of the spring rates.....

i tried to put the rustys poly .75 inch spacer on the rustys front assy, and it would not fit due to the springs being too tall. couldnt get the spring to compress enough to allow room for the spacer.

ive since ordered the ome 927 heavy dutes and will add the poly spacer to the new springs and strut.

Jeep4me99, not sure if that setup will work but if i was you i would consider rusty's strut plates and a small clevis lift with a couple extra rear isolators in the rear. this should give you enough lift to be sitting level with a frankie and also allows you to play around and add alittle or take alittle out if needed to get to your desired height. I have the Old man emu lift with rusty's strut plates and seems to be fairly level now, but when i want alittle more lift iam going to add a isolatoror two in the rear and 2 or 3 2" conduit nuts up front.Just a thought... ** easy install as well, without spending alot of $$$
