Didn't want to hijack the "Steel Wheels Painted Black?" thread but I had to ask .... Clint - What was behind your decision to put your spare on the roof? My initial thought would be that it would add to the top-heaviness. |

A lot of the places we wheel are at a very sharp angle. Whe you come off the ledge it would hit the spare tire on the rear and bend the door. Hope that helps. later...Clint |

You attached a Jerry can to the back in place of the tire, right? What kind of adapter/holder did you use? |

Yea a few guys did when we lead the trails at Camp Jeep CA last year. By the way the gas mount is a Conn Ferr that i got from All J Products. It does not come set up for a KJ so they make a mount for it to work in the factory holes for the tire mount. Hope that helps. Later...clint |
