I have installed the full OME kit (front & rear) along with a 12mm spacer in the front as well (at the top of the strut) - 30mm net gain in front and rear. I want more lift in the front and am about to do a clevis lift.
1. There is about 6mm sticking out at the bottom of the clamp (clevis) and have been told that I can safely lift the strut by 18mm from where it is now. The base of the strut will therefore sit 12mm into the clevis - is this safe?
2. Once the clevis is done, it will mean that the rear will sit lower than the front. For this I have ordered a few 5mm trim packs which I intent packing in at the back. The question is - how the hell do I get them in there and do I stick them in the bottom or the top and directly against the coil, or below that rubber thingy?
Please help - I want to do this the day after tomorrow...
