I found this pic on Car Domain. The guy's from Mexico. He didn't offer any explanation.

Check out the depth of the water in the front seat area. This about makes me cry.

OUCH!

That really sucks, LOL. Man I would like to know the whole story behind that one, wonder if a snorkel would have gotten him through it? Probably just would have gotten them in deeper wouldnt it?

I bet it would have. Depends on how long he stayed in the water really. If the inside fills up like that, im sure ALL the electronics DO NOT work.. I would say the BCM doesnt work under water either... If it was just a quick dip over the hood and back out, he would be fine with a snorkel..

I'd say the current swept him downstreamm, so a snorkle probably wouldnt have helped if the current was too strong anyway...Cool Photo

You would have to do some serious work to survive a complete soaking like that, silicone everywhere. You ever see the video of the trooper with a snorkel floating down some river? It was pretty wild, once they caught traction they just drove right out. Might see if I can hunt it up tonight.

It does look like a flash flood came through.. But you figured the water would look muddy? And if the libby has been in the water long enough for the water level to go back down and clear up, you figured it would of been hit by debris by now.. Looks like someone just drove it in there.. Doesnt look like anything is wrong with it?

I read about someone getting a Jeeo cherokee stuck on a beach and the tide came in.. after the tide went back out, they popped the spark plug out to pump the water out of the engine. After that it was fine and they drove away..

X4 The first thing I thought of was that video of them running full throttle into the hill.

no way that is photoshop. First of all look at the hood, how the water runs over it, and then look at the reflections in the paint and the mirror.
