Post pictures of your liberty WITH A LIFT, and tell us exactly what lift you have, what tires you have, and if they rub or not, what mods to make the tires NOT rub etc DarbyWalters: If you don't have a pic to post, please don't clutter with "Looks Good"..."I just added the same lift and tires. I'll post pics later." Just wait until you have pics and then post. Thanx If you have any questions about a lift you see PM that person or start a new thread. ****Update***** Scraped the mushy OME rear shocks and added the Rancho 17004's,ride and rear flex is improved by 100%.I also did some trimming of the rear fender flares and re-installed them and switched to 265/75R16 Trxus MT's which stand 31.9" tall.No rub in the front still and just a slight kiss on the front of the front part of the rear fender flares.I have now about 50,000miles on my SkyJacker lift and still sitting at 3.75" of lift. Did have a front CV break on the trail, was not flexed at all, tire got wedged and the CV let go.To say the lift most likely did not have anything to do with this CV failure but more to the more difficult trails that my KJ has been through with no breakage it was bound to happen. The CV was perfect before breaking with no noise or play, just the stress of being wedged like it was when torque was applied it decided to blow apart. |

here's mine, a Rusty's 2.5 coil lift with 2 conduit lock nuts in the front and one spring isolator in the rear. Past weekend was time for summer tires so I put a set of 245-75-16 BfG All terrains with a 1.25 spacer on wheels. Pounding the pinch weld was necessary with the spacers. So far this is it, I have so many mods down the road I want to do... |

Frankenlift with extra rear upper isolator (from mopar).. 265/75/16 BFG AT KO's.. wheel spacers (spidertrax 1.25in) to get them off the swaybar.. beat down pinch weld and front bumper/ inner fender trimming to get them not to rub. hope this helps someone in their lift decision.. update.. the ARB bumper and winch was weighing down the front end so i switched to OME CRD HD 970 front coils keeping all my gasser frankenlift height adders (bottom spacer and daystar top plate). back is still frankenlift plus 1 rear isolator on each side |

Front: OME HD Springs Rancho RSX 17505 Struts Rusty's Strut Plate Custom 1/4" Clevis Spacer Al's A-Arms Moog LBJ's Rear: OME HD Springs "The New" - OME N132L Shocks Daystar Bumpstops Tires: 245/75/16 BFG KO's on Moabs Pounded down the pinch weld. I get rubbing on the front wheel liner / bumper at near full lock. Still need to do some trimming. The suspension rides great, but the BFG KO's really stiffened things up. Not to bad though. |

Frankenlift II Premium, OME HD coils and struts/shocks all around, Al's A-arms, 245/75-16 MT/Rs on Moabs. AllJ did the install, they did some pich weld pounding and front bumper/air dam trimming. There doesn't seem to be any danger of rubbing on the pinch weld, but there is still a teeny bit of rubbing on the front bumper under specific conditions. Here's a before and after so you can see what kind of trimming the air dam required: Wife and I are both very pleased with the results. |

I haven't decided what size to go up to. So far I'm debateing whether to go 245/65/17 (29.5 inch diam.), 235/70/17 (30 inch diam.) or 245/70/17 (30.6 inch diam.). I'll update when I make the change. |

From the dealer in 04 with a 2" spacer lift Rusty's 2.5 just after the install two years ago Last weekend at Tellico. Looking to add a spacer or two in back and a 3 washer clevis since it seems to have sagged a bunch in front. Trimmed the pinch weld and the liner and not much rubbing with Dunlop AT 245/75/16's on Moabs. |
