stock suspension with 2.5" rubber lift spacers and 1.25" wheel spacers. 265/75 a/t rear rubs when articulates...pretty bad at times but i ignore it. on the front i cut the pinch welds completely off and modified cut the inner wheel wells. also had to modify the front skid thingy that came with the arb bumber to cover the washer fluid. front still rubs though but oh well.

Image

was contemplating maybe a smaller size tire to eliminate all rubbing but will decide when the time comes cause so far i like.. 8)

Frankenlift II with Jeepin by Al's upper control arms. 23" center of front hub to fender flare, 21" in rear (I figure this will settle down as it gets broken in).

Hello. I am new to this site.. I own a 96 XJ lifted on 33's. Im purchasing a 04 liberty renegade for my wife. I was looking at the lifts for them and can't aford the frakenlift so was gonna do one of the budget lifts. I've used some of rocky-roads products on my xj and realy love how beefy the they make there stuff. I saw they make a lift for the liberty and was wondering how it was and performed to the other budget lifts. And can it fit 31X10.50X15 Ok without any rubbing. Any comments or opinions would be greatly appreciated thanx. :?:

I have seen people on here say they regret purchasing the RRO budget lift for the Liberty. I went with Daystar lift kit+skyjacker hydro 7000 rear shocks and so far I like it. But when the money comes my way, I'm upgrading to OME springs and Blistein shocks plus the clevis lift. Just because I want to try something new, I guess. :-)r

A clevis lift is where you lift the clevis 3/8ths which gives you 3/4in. of lift. If I can remember correctly. This is on the front only. Look for a thread about how to do a clevis lift on here. I'm sure there is one. Okay so the OME springs+Blistein shocks+the clevis lift gives you 22.5"-22.75" of lift frome the center wheel cap to the top fender (if I can remember correctly what Tommudd told me). You can throw Upper Rear Isolators on the back to level out the rear with the front. I have learned all this from LOST. :D

You can find your shocks here (Blisteins)
http://www.shockwarehouse.com/

Springs are here (make sure you get heavy duty)
http://jeepinbyal.com/cat-Old_Man_Emu_Suspension_Products-32.aspx

Anyone else chime in and correct me if I'm wrong. All I need to do is give someone the wrong information. :dizzy:

I will. But will prob. Be a while were buying the jeep tomorrow. So the lift will be later when we have some extra money. I already have the 31X10.50X15 Tires from when they were on my cherokee before I moved up to 33's.
