Nice, what tyres did you get?

Has anyone used the Ironman lift kits? They look good and much more in my price range. I'd love to hear from anyone that has direct experience with them?

245/75-16 Wild Country XTX. No rubbing anywhere so far. I still have to put my top plates in and have my struts re-assembled correctly

Got the JBA top plates on, and 2 ring clevis (was 3 ring before), and 245/75-16 Wild Country XTX

OME 926/947, Bilstein struts, Bilstein Dakota rear, JBA top plate, 2 ring clevis, Moog K3199 LBJ, 245/75's. Only place it rubs is the drivers side fog light door, but only offroad

Edit: Changed/added better pics

Assembled new front springs and shocks myself and then installed them. What a PITA! Had to use a hydraulic compressor...NO WAY were they possible using hand tools. So I bought a hydraulic one from PA last week...very cool tool.

Ended up with this (the front is not actually that much higher than the rear, pics taken on an SGSII):
21.5" front: OME HD (927) on ironman shocks, no clevis, no spacer
20" rear: two upper isos; stock suspension, but it's still good even if others think 'it should all be done at once'  but ymmv

The ride is VERY smooth in comparison to the 3-ring clevis lift I had before.

Other mods:
stock-sized Grabber AT2
engine skid
air dam removed
front hooks, rear d-ring
painted fenders black

Image

Now I have two raised vehicles. lol

Here's mine. Running HD Ironman springs in the front with Bilsteins and Teraflex bumpstops. Rear is Ironman Springs with Monroe Load Levelers for Dodge Dakota. (As discussed other places on here.) With Hockey puck bumpstops. Everything sitting 21.4-21.5 inches all the way around now, been about one year and 15,000 miles. On 215 85 16. Which have been described as looking like a fat lady on stilts. (They really do from behind. haha!)
update: 245 75 16 Treadwright Claws. ImageThe claws rubbed a bit on some front bits. Those bits met their demise. Also, on full lock, it just kisses the plastic by the washer fluid bottle.

Since I haven't posted it yet.....

Front JBA coilovers with a 1" cradle drop and knuckle drop to the Jeep to get 5.25 and keep everything happy. Transmission cross member stayed at "stock" location to keep her nice and tucked up.

Rear are my custom "5 inch" lift springs with 1 extra isolator.

Is the rustys spacer kit worth it just for extra clearance and the occasional off road?

No and no
plus their springs are rated same as stock and sag in a year
Skyjackers are also same as stock rated so no to them
Also no to any spacer lift and RRO
Stick with OME , Ironman or JBA coilovers for best results

Hey everyone, new to the forum and interested in this lift thread. I own a 2002 kj sport and I am very limited on lifts. I was reading through couple posts and could not find many 2002 lifted kjs and the ones that are posted do not include the lift brand. I know there is the daystar 2.5" lift that fits but have read mixed reviews, any input is much appreciated. Was really hoping the rough country 3" lift would work but they only fit 2003+ :banghead:
