OK - so a few weeks ago I broke the hook on my sunshade clip. Got another one from Rockauto - shipping cost more than the clip (I'm in the UK), but that's ok - I'm used to that. My question is this -- can ANYONE tell me what the screw head is that holds the thing on? I cant tell if it a phillps, allen socket, or whatever!

It's frustrating when such a small part can cause so much trouble!

What model and year is your vehicle? This detail can help identify the type of screw used for the sunshade clip, as different models might have different screw types

Many screws have Torx heads. Sometimes an Allen key will fit.

Thank you. I've managed to get a pic and enlarge it, and it does indeed look like a torx (small one). For anyone wondering why I didn't take a pic before - I tried but my phone's camera/lens wasn't good enough. I remembered that my small camera (Olympus Tough-as opposed to my SLR) has a macro function and an excellent lens! Of course, I don't have a set of torx screwdrivers - off to Halfords tomorrow to their tool section!
I note that there are a number of other fasteners that are torx as well - why couldn't they just go for allen fasteners all round!

Thanks to all who looked.

Hi,
The size of the Torx is T-15. I had to replace mine last month.

Your complain about the freight cost is common, but I had the reversed situation when I needed a Air Flow Control valve and the UK company DID NOT shipped to US or Canada. I ended paying twice the price at a US company, plus shipping in the US.

Ah, thank you for that. Given the age of the vehicles and their relative scarcity, and the fact that a lot of parts are no longer available from Mopar, we have to get parts from wherever we can, and that can mean a low-cost part, but high shipping!
