I'm running a 2.5" lift, and 265/75/16 tire, and my mileage is probably about 13 to 14 city,and18 highway.Haven't done an official check but the mileage did suffer after lift and tires.I seem to be getting gas a little more often.Hope this helps. Ron P.S......Welcome. |

Ron P.S......Welcome. Are these figures with a recalibrated speedometer? That seems a little low to me. On the other hand, 265s are pretty big tires for a KJ! |

No Video Guy,I haven't actually officialy checked it,but I do know I'm at the pumps alot more often.A speedo calibrator is on my list. You can get one at Summit Racing, and even adjust shift points with it.Where I work we are able to reprogram ECM's,but I think buying a calibrator and installing it would be easier.Confusing the computer could cause other problems. If I use the stock size tires, I get the same mileage. ![]() |

I get enough miles out of a tank to get me to most trails, wheel for a while and get me back home. Well worth it IMHO. ![]() |

I saw no real difference with a lift. The 32's (235/85r16) cut a huge hole in the gas tank ![]() |

I still have the same stock tires. Get 18 to 20 mpg driving to work. Surface streets and freeway. Use Scan Gauge to get information. I'm guessing the tires do the most damage to the mileage of the other Liberties listed. See profile for equipment list. |

A Crd with a 2 1/2" lift will return the milage figures which are pretty close to stock (21 city/ 28 hwy). The gassers seam to lose 2-3 mpg (13 city/ 17 hwy) with the lift because they lack the low end torque of the diesel. |
