Hi All, haven't posted since Oct '06. question about lifts. I've been researching and now I'm looking for opinons Rocky Road, Rusty's, Skyjacker? Also Planning to add an ARB bumper later on. Right now I've decided to go with a lift first and tires in a couple of months. the bumper next spring. I'm leaning towards RRO simply because their closer to Reno then the others.

I'm looking at the coil lifts. The Rocky Road lift I'm interested in is the Rockfather I or II. I would also like to put on an ARB bumper next fall or spring. Right now my concerns are the lifts and new tires. I wanted to wait till the stock tires needed replacing to do any mods.

Have you looked into the frankenlift by Allj's? http://www.boulderbars.com/kjproducts.htm. This lift seems to be one of (if Not) the best lift for the kj. All of your choices seem very good. the opnes i would recommened are the rustys and the frankenlift. The rockfatherII is probbaly a good lift but for the price you can get a frankenlift plus some extras!! Rustys also has a good lift,i know that some have had troble with he rear shocks that come with this lift, but if you ask iam sure they will swicth them out for some old amn emu (OME) or ranchos. Ensure that you inform them that you are going to install a ARB bumper and will need some coils to accomadate the extra weight. The ride might be a bit rough until the arb is installed but i have heard that others actually like the feel of the siffer coils.

Thank you for your in put I really appreciate it. I've got 41000 miles on in two years and no problems. I would have more but was off work for six months and didn't have to drive much.
