Fender cutting

Has anyone done anything to their rear fenders? I'm going to have a few problems with my rear tires getting stuffed and running into fender flares.

Also, a quick question for people like steakgoddess who have trimmed the front up, when you cut off the front plastic, do you just leave the plastic hanging, or do you cover the bottom up. What does it look like under the turn signals here:

Rear fenders. Mine are hanging on by one of those little plastic screw thingies. I, myself, am trying to figure out what to do with all that plastcie back there , too. I hope some other guys have some insight.

I did not do anything with the plastic after cutting it, I like being able to see the undersides of the Jeep. Makes it less sissified. I can snap a picture for you tomorrow, if you would like.
