Has anyone had any issues with front brake lines being too short for lifting the vehicle 2.5"??
My local car repair place recently performed a brake overhaul on the Liberty and ever since, I get significant steering wheel shake when the brakes are applied. I suspect cheap rotors were installed which promptly warped after a few heating cycles. They claim my brake lines are too short for the lift (RRO combo lift) and that the left front line "collapsed" causing the caliper to lock up. This doesn't make any sense to me and I suspect they're trying to blame their shoddy work on my lift!!!
Tell the repair shop that you and your gang (THE LOST KJers) are going to come up ther and stomp a mudhole in their a$$es to drive our KJs thru!
Really, I think they are full of it. KJTX and I lifted my KJ 2.5" and it has plenty of brake line left.
You want me to call them and get in their stupid? I can't stand people like that!
